The theme of the conference organized by Universidad de Sevilla between 25-26 of October was “Challenges in the communication of the #European #Union: combating #misinformation, populism and new conflicts in the present and future of #democracy“.
In her contribution, Adriana Mutu focused on the provisions for the promotion of #European #works for media service providers of on demand #audiovisual media services under the revised Audiovisual Media Services Directive (#AVMSD). Based on an extensive review of extant theoretical and empirical frameworks, her study investigates the main provisions for the promotion of European works contained in #Article13. Legal requirements are specifically analyzed by looking at the transposition of the AVMSD into #Spanish national #legislation.
