On 19-21 October 2023, Adriana Mutu took part in the Annual Conference of the #International #Media #Management Academic Association (#IMMAA) hosted by Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, #Morocco.
The International Media Management Academic Association (IMMAA) is a consortium of researchers, scholars, experts and students connected around the subject of Media Management. IMMAA brings together people interested in the developments in the field of media management from around the world.
The conference theme was “Media Transformation: A Road map for the future”, addressing the challenges and opportunities of media management in the new #digital and #technological transformation era.
In her contribution, Adriana Mutu focused on the recent #EU legal developments including the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (#AVMSD), the Digital Services Act (#DSA) and the Digital Markets Act (#DMA), mapping out the specific European policy instruments and provisions aiming at strengthening the protection of underaged viewers from potentially harmful and prejudicial media content.
