MEDEA is pleased to highlight the participation of Adriana Mutu at the “What is Responsible AI?” symposium, held on 16 October 2026 at the University of Derby, UK.
Adriana presented her research on “Generative AI and the Amplification of Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence,” addressing the implications of generative AI for online safety and responsible technology governance.
The symposium brought together international experts from institutions including De Montfort University, the University of Glasgow, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Linnaeus University, Sabancı Business School, the University of Botswana, and Birmingham City University.
Discussions explored the social, ethical and economic implications of generative AI for journalism, media industries and democratic communication.
