TILTing Perspectives 2026 Between Values and Innovation: Tech Governance in a Multicentric World

17–19 June 2026 | Tilburg, Netherlands
The TILTing Perspectives 2026 conference will take place in Tilburg from 17 to 19 June 2026, bringing together scholars and experts in law, technology, and digital governance to examine how technology is governed in an increasingly fragmented global order.
The conference will address key tensions between innovation, sovereignty, and values in digital governance, asking how regulatory frameworks can remain effective when the technological architecture of the digital world is shaped across multiple jurisdictions and competing governance regimes.
Structured around a Grand Track and several specialised thematic tracks, the event continues the long-standing TILTing tradition of interdisciplinary exchange on issues including AI governance, platform regulation, data protection, digital sovereignty, competition law, cybersecurity, and digital rights.
Within this framework, Adriana Mutu will participate as a speaker, contributing to discussions on technology governance and regulatory accountability in the context of EU digital regulation, including instruments such as the Digital Services Act (DSA) and broader platform governance frameworks.
The conference will also feature keynote addresses from leading international scholars, including Prof. Anu Bradford (Columbia Law School), Prof. Gloria González Fuster (Vrije Universiteit Brussel), Prof. Ben Farrand (Newcastle Law School), and Prof. Michael Veale (University College London).
TILTing 2026 provides a high-level forum for rethinking how law and policy can respond to the evolving challenges of digital governance in a multicentric world.
