Telecommunications in the Digital Transformation: IIC Italy Chapter Meeting

On Tuesday, 11 November 2025, the International Institute of Communications (IIC) Italy Chapter, with the support of Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni (AGCOM), hosted a high-level meeting on Telecommunications in the Digital Transformation. The event took place at the headquarters of AGCOM and gathered leading voices from regulation, industry, and academia to discuss the evolving landscape of digital communications in Europe.

A highlight was the contribution of Augusto Preta, President of the IIC Italian Chapter, CEO of ITMedia Consulting, and Founding Member of MEDEA. Preta opened the proceedings alongside Elisa Giomi, Commissioner at AGCOM, setting the tone for a day of strategic dialogue on digital sovereignty, infrastructure, regulation, and investment in the digital ecosystem.
