International Seminar – World Arabic Language Day 2025

MEDEA (Mediterranean Europe and Africa) is pleased to announce its participation as co-organizer of the International Seminar held in celebration of World Arabic Language Day 2025, organized on 29 December 2025 and conducted entirely in Arabic.

Titled “Building Partnerships for Strengthening Media and Information Literacy (MIL) in the Arab World,” the seminar brought together leading experts and representatives from regional and international institutions to explore collaborative approaches for advancing media literacy and education across Arab societies.

    Representative of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO)

The seminar also featured contributions from experts and officials representing the League of Arab States, UNESCO, and other prominent regional institutions, enriching the dialogue on the role of language, culture, and media education in the Arab world.

Organization & Collaboration

The event was organized by Moulay Ismail University, in collaboration with its academic and institutional partners, with the active involvement of MEDEA as a co-organizer. The seminar emphasized the importance of partnerships in strengthening Media and Information Literacy as a tool for cultural inclusion, critical thinking, and sustainable development in the Arab region.

This seminar marked the final international academic event of 2025, reinforcing the shared commitment of regional and international stakeholders to advancing MIL through dialogue, cooperation, and linguistic diversity.
