Adriana Mutu participated in the EU Values in the Digital Ecosystem Papers Discussion Workshop, held at Università Roma Tre in Rome on 14 September 2026, contributing to an international academic discussion on digital platforms, market power and European digital regulation.
During the panel on Digital Platforms, Digital Markets and the Digital Economy, Adriana discussed how major online platforms implement the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA), contributing to ongoing debates on algorithmic governance, accountability and consumer protection.
The EU Values in the Digital Ecosystem Papers Discussion Workshop is organized by the EVO Jean Monnet Chair at the Università Roma Tre (Italy). The workshop brings together researchers from a range of European universities and research institutions, including Università Roma Tre, Università di Perugia, Università dell’Insubria, Tilburg University, and other institutions across Europe. The event provides an interdisciplinary platform for discussing current research on digital governance, artificial intelligence, platform regulation, data protection, digital rights, and the future of the European digital ecosystem.
About the research
Adriana investigates the implementation of DSA transparency and content-moderation requirements across leading e-commerce platforms. The research examines the relationship between private platform governance, regulatory oversight and consumer protection in Europe.
